Vygotsky tiles

Vygotsky tiles are my conception of an elegant and simple learning device for young children, that can be applied to the learning of written words. Instruments of this form were put to good scientific use by the eminent psychologist Lev Vygotsky and his colleagues.

The special features of these tiles, which make them a desirable product, is principally their purposeful simplicity that facilitate a child's appreciation for word patterns which mediate their ability to find particular images.

An accompanying information booklet provides both recommended instructions for use and references to the scientific literature from which the idea originates.
